BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By booking with By Madeline Makeup and paying a deposit you understand and accept that you are entering into a contract and are bound to the terms and conditions stated below. 

Location

In studio bookings are located in Mornington, 3931.

Timing/Late Arrival

Please arrive with a clean face free of any makeup to avoid additional charges and save time. Please adhere to booking times. Should you arrive more than 10 minutes past the agreed booking time, your booking and deposit will be forfeited.

The remaining service amount will charged to your nominated card.
If you do not show to your appointment your booking and deposit will be forfeited. The remaining service amount will charged to your nominated card.

For Bridal bookings should guests/bridal party arrive late, for every 15 minutes the makeup chair is empty further charges apply.

Booking fees

A non-refundable/non transferable booking fee is required to secure all makeup bookings. 

For bridal bookings:

To hold your wedding date, you must confirm a trial date within 8-10 weeks.

After your trial, a non refundable non transferrable deposit is then required within 7 days if you would like to proceed with booking Madeline for your wedding. 

If booking fee is not paid within specified time frame or you decide not to proceed, your wedding date will reopen to other brides on the waitlist. 

The deposit will come off the final invoice and the final balance must be settled 14 days prior to your wedding date. 

Deposits are under no circumstances refundable or transferable. 

Cancellation Policy (In Studio)

Madeline understand things happen however please also understand the needs of running a small business.

For in studio appointments, a 40% deposit is required at the time of booking via the online booking system and the balance may be paid on the day of appointment. 

Deposits are non refundable or transferable.

Cancellations less than 48 hours notice will automatically incur the service amount to be charged in full to the nominated card that you booked with. Deposits remain non refundable and non transferable if a cancellation occurs.

Cancellations more than 48 hour notice will result in your deposit being forfeited.

In the event that Madeline is unable to fulfil any bookings due to medical reasons, assistance will be offered to replace makeup artist however, is not guaranteed.

Cancellation Policy (Bridal)

Madeline understand things happen however please also understand the needs of running a small business.

Booking fees/ deposits are under no circumstances refundable or transferable.

Once your date has been secured and booking fee has been paid, if there are changes made to the size of the bridal party additional charges will apply. The original price will be quoted even if the party is downsized. This is to cover the cost if other brides have been turned away for this date.

If booking or timing changes need to be made we will always do our best to cater to your needs and be as flexible as possible. Please note: Sometimes we have two brides per day so timing changes may be limited but please give us as much notice as possible so that we can assist you if necessary.

If you need to cancel your booking for your wedding, please note that the booking fee is under no circumstances refundable, transferable or redeemable on another service. If you need to cancel your wedding within 30 days of your wedding date, the remaining amount is still to be paid in full and the booking fee is non-refundable.

In the event that Madeline is unable to fulfil any bridal bookings due to medical reasons, assistance will be offered to replace makeup artist however, is not guaranteed.

Pricing/quotes

All service and product prices are subject to change without notice.

Quotes are valid via email only and valid for 6 months. Quotes that have expired after 6 months will require you to receive a new quote with updated pricing as the initial pricing may not be honoured.

Health and Safety

Under no circumstances is Madeline responsible for any allergic reactions to products used at By Madeline makeup we prioritise hygiene and sanitation using a clean set of brushes on each client and following strict protocols to ensure the safety of our clients.

If you are unwell or showing any symptoms of being unwell or contagious/infectious skin conditions present (cold/flu like symptoms, fever, cold sores, conjunctivitis, styes, etc) please notify Madeline of this and do not attend.

Madeline has the right to refuse service if you are showing signs of being unwell or if she deems the service to be unsafe, unhygienic or puts Madeline and/or clients at risk. The service will not be carried out and deposit will not be refunded. No partial makeovers will occur, you will be turned away if you are presenting with any of the above or similar.
