Booking & Payment
All in-studio appointments require full pre-payment to secure your spot. Please ensure you are certain when selecting your date and time, as all bookings are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable under any circumstance. They cannot be rescheduled or transferred to another person.
Appointments are only confirmed once full payment is received
Pricing
• Sunday and public holiday bookings incur a 15% surcharge.
• All pricing is subject to change without notice; however, any updates will not affect appointments that are already confirmed and paid in full.
Appointment Length
Please allow 1 hour and 15 minutes for your appointment when planning your day. Arriving late may result in a shortened service, but full payment still applies.
• Please arrive promptly and allow sufficient time for parking and preparation, as late arrivals affect the schedule of following clients.
Cancellations & Changes
• No cancellations or changes are permitted once the appointment is booked.
• Any cancellations will result in the forfeiture of the full appointment cost.
Late Arrivals & No-Show
• If you do not arrive within 10 minutes of your appointment time, it will automatically be cancelled and payment forfeited. (Madeline works back-to-back most days, so this is not flexible.)
• No-shows will also result in forfeited payment.
Health & Safety
• If you are unwell or showing symptoms of illness (cold/flu, fever, cold sores, conjunctivitis, etc.), please do not attend. Madeline reserves the right to refuse service, and payments will not be refunded.
• Clients must disclose any known allergies, skin sensitivities, or medical conditions prior to their appointment. Madeline is not liable for any adverse reactions if this information is withheld.
• Any visible signs of skin irritation, infection, or contagious conditions may result in refusal of service for health and safety reasons.
• Madeline will not apply makeup to any area with open wounds, cold sores, or infections for hygiene and safety purposes.
Studio Conduct & Safety
• Clients are expected to behave respectfully at all times. Aggressive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. Madeline reserves the right to refuse or terminate service if she feels threatened, intimidated, or unsafe. Payments will not be refunded in such circumstances.
• No children or additional guests are permitted during appointments, as Madeline cannot supervise them. Only the client receiving the service should attend.
• No smoking or vaping is permitted in the studio or at the chair.
• Madeline reserves the right to remove clients from the studio if they breach any rules for the safety and comfort of all parties.
Personal Belongings
• Madeline is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings brought into the studio
Liability Disclaimer
• Clients agree that Madeline is not liable for any adverse reactions, injuries, or accidents resulting from services provided, except where caused by negligence.
• By attending the appointment, clients confirm they have disclosed any known skin sensitivities, allergies, or medical conditions prior to the booking.
Studio Hygiene
• Studio and equipment are maintained to the highest hygiene standards.
• Clients are requested to arrive with clean skin free of makeup for the service booked.
Photography & Social Media
• By attending the appointment, clients consent to Madeline using photographs/video of the service for promotional or social media purposes, unless otherwise requested.
• Clients may request that images not be used prior to their appointment.
Final Notes
• By booking an appointment, clients acknowledge and agree to all the above Terms & Conditions.
• Madeline reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of changes prior to their next booking.
• Madeline appreciates your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a professional and respectful studio environment.
